JEE Main exam 2022: Things to carry at IIT JEE exam centre

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to start the JEE Main 2022 session 2 exam from July 25. The JEE Main 2022 dates are July 25 to 30.

  • JEE Main 2022 Admit Card: Ensure that all the details provided in the admit card are correct. Check your name, gender, date of birth, test centre, paper, city and state code of eligibility and category. If there is an issue with your admit card, you must contact NTA. The admit card is provisionally issued to the candidates, based on them meeting the eligibility criteria.
  • ID card: Candidates should bring a valid Identity card with name and photograph which is issued by the government of India such as Aadhar card, Pan card, Ration card, Passport, Voter ID card, Driving license.
  • Students who belong to PwD (Person with Disability) category should provide a valid PwD certificate. The candidate must bring PwD certificate issued by the competent authority if claiming relaxation under PwD category. The scribe must also carry his/ her own self-declaration(Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, etc., passport size photograph, valid government identity.
  • A simple transparent ballpoint pen.
  • Additional photographs, that will be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • Personal hand sanitiser (50 ml).
  • Personal transparent water bottle.
  • Along with the release of the JEE Main 2022 admit card, the NTA has also released the exam day instructions which includes what to carry at the exam centre, what not to carry, documents required, and much more.
  • Students will be allowed to carry their admit card, photo id proof, water bottle, hand sanitizer, mask, gloves, and ball point pen.

JEE Main exam 2022: What Not to carry at IIT JEE exam centre

The following items are strictly prohibited inside the JEE Main exam centre 2022.

  • Any type of electronic devices 
  • Stationary/Paper Pencil box/instrument/geometry box 
  • Purse/wallet/handbag 
  • Mobile phone/earphone/microphone/pager 
  • Any metallic item 
  • Camera/tape recorder

JEE Main 2022: Other instructions for the NTA JEE exam day

  • Students should not forget to carry the JEE Main admit card 2022 and a valid id proof at the exam centre. 

  • Candidates suffering from diabetes will be allowed to carry eatables inside the exam hall such as sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles.
  • Students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after the examination commences or leave before it ends. 

  • Rough sheets will be provided by the authorities at the exam centre
